Stuff I'll Be Reviewing Before Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is fast approaching. Some of us might be a little cynical about this holiday - can't blame you, really - and some of us might get excited about it (I'm in between, but hey, a reason to get prettied up? I'll take it!). The one thing we all know is that most things about Valentine's Day nowadays are constructed. That being the case, take it as you will, and have fun with it if the feeling grabs you!

Personally, I'll admit to a sort of fifth grade nostalgia for Valentine's Day... *sigh*... Remember those little folding hearts they used to have us make? So cute... Anyhow, on to the grown up fun of it all!

I've decided that from here to the 14th, I'll be doing several reviews of fancy perfumes and lip colours. There will be three of each, and they are all geared toward... you guessed it! Valentine's Day! Some people will want to dress up that day - or that evening - and sometimes the right shade of lipstick and the right fragrance can really perk a girl up. Unfortunately, today's post is kind of a teaser for those upcoming reviews, but if you like what you see, please stay tuned - so to speak - for a little awesomeness over the next week or so.

Chanel Tom Ford Bvlgari

From left to right, I'll be reviewing:
  • Chanel N°5 in the Eau De Parfum concentration;
  • Chanel's Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick in shade 40 'La Sensuelle' (rich matte fuchsia colour);
  • Tom Ford's Black Orchid in Eau De Parfum;
  • Chanel's Rouge Coco Shine lipstick in shade 54 'Boy' (a pale pink, not too peachy, not too candy-pink);
  • Chanel's Rouge Coco lipstick in shade 21 'Rivoli'
  • and last but not least, Bvlgari's Jasmin Noir in Eau de Parfum.

Have a great day everyone, and thanks for reading!

A.
